Why is everyone upset about an 8? It is a good score and if you like the game or a fan of the series, ignore the Metacritic scores, currently at 79 btw, and go play the game and enjoy it. Some of the best games this generation IMO isn't reflected upon scores, like lost odyssey was just avg in scoring, but I enjoyed the heck out of it and played it 2 times already. I will get this game because I am a fan of the series and I'll enjoy the game for what it is.

What are you talking about. First, Judgment is a side story/sort of prequel in the Gears Universe and it is not the main game. Second, People Can Fly was bought out by Epic so they are indeed part of Epic. Third, People May Fly made the very underrated Bulletstorm; great game. Epic is currently working on The next Trilogy...
The only thing I am concern with is the pricing of the games. Batman Arkham City, Need for Speed and some older ports are still at full retailed price while these same games are $30 and below for the X360 and PS3. I am a huge Lego fan and Lego City seems like a great original game for the system but what Nintendo failed to do is get one of their super AAA franchise released at the launch Window. I am talking about a HD Zelda and a true successor to Mario 64.

I will definitely get the next xbox. The main reason is BC, which is most likely going to be included in the next xbox. I have over 100 Xbox 360 games so able to play it on one unit is a blessing for me. Imagine playing GTA5 and minute later load up Forza 5 in one smooth transition.
This is not a knock on PS4, of course, as I do have a PS3 and PS2 but that system can wait another year when it is cheaper.
It is going to be a close race between the PS4 and Next box. PS4 has Japan and Xbox Next has America and Europe is kind of in the middle with PS4 probably have a slight advantage.
I live in the US, so I will most likely buy the next xbox first and wait for a price drop on the PS4 and the next Uncharted and GOW before getting one.
Can't wait for the announcements for next gen!
Who cares, I still play NFL 2K5 on my Xbox 360 to this day for my Football fix, will never buy an EA sports title ever again.
